Launch Party + Pop Up Exhibition

Friend of The Artist is pleased to celebrate the launch of Volume 9, an art book that puts together some of the top emerging artists from around the world. Artists selected are from the US, UK, Germany, Netherlands, and South Korea and work in a variety of mediums including painting, performance, and sculpture. We believe that emerging artist should be taken seriously, and this volume provides context to their work and background to their work.

The launch of Volume 9 is concurrent to a pop-up exhibition which includes the work of DFW-based artists who were published in former volumes. While showing off their work, the exhibition highlights the artist interest in transforming every day whether it be mundane objects or landscape. The artist shown include Lynné Bowman Cravens, Bumin Kim, Madelyn Sneed- Grays, Carroll Swenson-Roberts, and James Zamora.
